In implementation of activities under Work Package Five of the project „Trifold approach to circular economy: perspectives of academia, business and wider society“(2022-1-BG01-KA220-HED-000085464, project acronym „CRCLEcon“), two books developed by teams of researchers from four Balkan countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, and Serbia, were published in English in April 2024. The purpose of the publications is to achieve a wide dissemination of the results of the project focused on current environmental issues. The books were written by scientists from D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics – Bulgaria, Artifex University of Bucharest, Istanbul Esenyurt University and University of Nish.
The first book has 18 authors and is aimed at teachers in circular economy. It is the result of the work of the project team under Work Package Two of the project. The book is cited bibliographically as follows:

In the spring of 2024, the teams have been performing the activities of Work Package Four. Two workshops are to be held - in Romania and Serbia, and the writing of the third book of the project, entitled: Handbook on Circular Economy Challenges to Business and Society, is underway.
According to decisions taken by the project management team, each of the three books is to be published in the national language of each of the partner universities. Thus, the three books will also have versions translated from English into Bulgarian, Romanian, Turkish and Serbian languages.
