Shaping tomorrow, together.
Partners of the EU funded project ‘Signs of Cohesion Policy in Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania’ gathered in Brussels to take part in European Week of Regions and Cities 2025, the EU’s largest annual event dedicated to regional development and cohesion.
Kata Tüttő - President of the Committee of the Regions
We are focusing on how cohesion is working and shaping and helping the transition of all the regions. And we are also focusing on the future so we understand where we are to set a direction.
This year’s edition brought together over 6.000 participants across Europe: policymakers, local authorities, civil society and media.
Over 200 sessions focused on three thematic pillars — Cohesion and Growth for the Future, The Right to Stay, and Cities Building Tomorrow — highlighting how regions and cities worked to become more resilient, inclusive and sustainable.
Aspon Consulting, ALPHA TV Cyprus, Asociatia SIMO and the Professor D-r Minko Rusenov Academic Foundation actively took part in this year’s sessions, gaining insights into how cohesion principles are applied across Member States and sharing best practices with regional stakeholders.
As the European Union looks ahead to a new chapter, both the Brussels forum and initiatives like “Signs of Cohesion Policy” reaffirm a shared vision — a Europe united through cooperation, solidarity and regional growth.
